Defend your civil servant. What’s worse? Public agression against civil servants or the apathy towards it? Three videos show individuals exploding against ambulance and train personnel, or cause havoc on a festive square during end-of-year activities.

Viewers of these interactive videos, which were commissioned by KONG and produced for the government-sponsored website nederlandveilig.nl (‘Netherlands safe’), are given three choices to alter the outcome of the scenes: ‘activate passers-by’, ‘warn other civil servants’ or ‘dial an emergency number’. In all cases, the violence subsides: the public can make a difference in curtailing street violence.
