Form follows function. When TomTom looked for a company to help promote new features on their navigation systems, competitors lined up with traditional point of view videos, shot from the backseats of cars and starring a range of fabulous ladies and gentlemen.
Refunk competed with totally untraditional digital infographics, and got the job because they showed all the new functions against minimal cost and without the hassle of stuffing cameras up driving cars. Form follows function, a philosophy that worked for TomTom when Refunk landed its first assignment with them some four years ago, and which worked again and again over the years on a range of Refunk-produced TV, internet and convention videos.
