The great green robbery. Hostile takeovers of interfaces have been done before. But has anyone ever seen organic undergrowth take over a digital object? A promotion campaign commissioned by KONG for agricultural schools did just that.
First, a website shows a dating banner for ‘shy people’, but the male model in the picture steadily loses interest in acting out his message, sensing a faint rumbling on another corner of the website. Next a branch of something organic and green smashes through the site, crashes your computer screen and elbows our guy from his add – to be replaced by the campaigns own banner.
