On December 3rd Tijmen will be giving a presentation at the Adobe User Group XL in which he will explain how we have built the Stanislav campaign.

Stanislav is more viral than the swineflu
Everybody and their dog create guerilla marketing and viral campaigns, but only a few do it really well. The guys & dolls from KONG, a young interactive theme-agency, did it well, 5-million-views-in-a-week well. KONG calls it an 'ambush': a campaign linked to a Hyves profile, cleverly packaged in an actionmovie setting, ultimately disguised in a YouTube player.
The aim of the campaign was to be more aware of how to deal with your personal details online. Next to that it started a lively discussion about online privacy and the assumption that your personal details are safe verywhere. The results speak for themselves;
A single Twitter message resulted in a server that started smoking, 2000 views per seconds was too much. After 7 days the viral resulted in excess of 5,000,000 views and 7,000,000 friend forwards, at which point the mediabuy got cancelled as the target was more than reached.
