To support the article, I have created a Flash embed test suite to assess browser support for various markup-based embedding methods. The test suite includes information on parameters including support for different Flash publish settings, streaming, and scriptability.

Flash Embedding Cage Match introduces SWFFix, which is a project by Geoff Stearns and myself with the goal to create one new and improved Flash embed JavaScript library that over time will phase out our existing UFO and SWFObject libraries.
