These are 7 beautiful and very comfortable chairs with an unusually wide seat for a balloon back. The frames have a lovely carved centre splat and the patina on the leather is gorgeous. I have never seen buttoned leather dining chairs like this before and they would look superb in both a traditional or contemporary interior.

They are Victorian and date from circa 1860. We believe they are either walnut or mahogany (seat frames are beech consruction with a substantial walnut or mahogany facing).
